Recently, Jubilee Chorus held its first concert at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in New York City. A total of 16 musicians took part in the concert and different genres of music were performed by the music ministry.

The concert began with the song 'Jubilee,' composed by Tom Bynum, and Jubilee Chorus performed the song powerfully, delivering a message containing the joy of salvation and freedom from sin. What followed next was classical lyrical hymns such as 'Be Still, My Soul,' and, 'It is Well With My Soul.'

Four section singers prepared special performances by singing a traditional spiritual song 'Down by the Riverside.' Also, 'Give Me Jesus' was sung by the assistant conductor Bill. Accompanying the choir, special guest William Oh played the violin, making the chorus music even more beautiful. For the last performance, the Jubilee Chorus sang 'Joyful, Joyful,' and. 'Why We Sing,' both in the jazz musical style.

The concert showed Jubilee's potential to perform various music in different styles, and also showed the mature image of Jubilee, delivering the message that music is an instrument to worship God.

Jubilee Chorus is planning to hold a Christmas concert on December 19, 2015. Please pray that its beautiful praise may overflow in New York City.
